Busy weekend ahead....

So all my bags and boxes are packed and very soon we will be off to spend the weekend at the steam and transport fair in Melton Mowbray, just got to fit it all in the car lol, if you out and about come in and have a wonder....and good thoughts for the weather please.

Workshop-Tole Painting…“Friends”

Come and join in with this lovely relaxing hobby, spend a few hours painting this gorgeous wooden ornament hanger, to keep for yourself or give to a friend as a gift, or why not bring along your friend and paint one for each other,
everything you need to make this is supplied in your kit.
Workshop-Introduction to patchwork and quilting

Would you like to have a go at patchwork and quilting, for the complete novice, this workshop is just for you, everything you need to make two matching cushion covers is supplied in your kit, no need to worry about sewing machines or equipment we have the lot.

Get together- if you don’t wish to do either workshop but would like to come along and work on your own project in the company of like minded people then come and join us, all crafts are welcome, we have stitchers, card makers, scrap bookers and quilters.
Plenty of parking and working space, refreshments and nibbles provided , don’t forget your lunch.

Busy week....

phew i am worn out, i have had a very productive week, since the begining of the crafty weekend up until yesterday morning i have produced this little lot, no wonder i was a bit tired yesterday, thought the headache was the cider lol but think it was because i was tired and ended up in bed by 8pm last night, and before anyone says anything it was one half pint of cider to quench my thirst lol !!!

now what to make, must carry on only two weeks until the 3 days craft fair!

Crafty weekend

Well i have to tell you about our wonderful weekend,at the scout hut crafty weekend,
we had such fun, so much laughter that it hurt lol,
we had some lovely food and the sun came out and we sat outside to eat, it was just lovely to be able to do that, realy lifts the spirits when the sun comes out doesn't it,and i have to say thank you Chris for the gorgeous fruit salad she made for us to enjoy and to Colly for the vegetable salad and to Ann for the coleslaw, yum yum we did eat very well lol

we also had two lovely workshops, firstly Sandra did some lovely quilted leaflet hangers , these are just gorgeous, thank you sandra, and for helping our new member Ann with her first quilting project.....

then jo did these gorgeous cookie jars with us, so lovely and just look at the results aren't they fab?

A Little something.....

I am working on at the minute, i have been asked to make 3 of something for someone but i have to work it all out first, i am loving the colours, they are making me feel very spring like and with all the windows and doors open with the breeze coming through it is just lovely...aaahhh spring has sprung!

Wooden Planters

Two more delights to add to the collection, Jo has painted these gorgeous planters, painted on both sides, they have a plastic lining ready to pot up or you can just place a pot straight inside, jo is busy painting more so keep your eye out, and lots of other planters to follow too!
