Mmmmm Moda-Love U

Thats what i am playing with at the minute and gorgeous it is too!
we had a great day at the NEC Festival of quilts on friday, saw some fantastic creations, we didnt spend too much but did come away with some of the Moda-Love U range, gorgeous and thats what i am playing with this lovely sunny sunday morning, so what was all that rain about last night lol



well better get back to it, got plenty to do before our busy weekend coming up. Melton market saturday, Stapleford miniature steam on sunday, Dalby day on monday and Melton market on tuesday, and then the rest of the week to replenish before the Hickling Scarecrow Festival the following saturday and sunday......busy busy..

Fantastic Weekend

well that was an adventure lol, Jo and i had a great weekend camping in a park in the middle of nottingham surrounded by a fair and thousands of screaming kids lol
imagine the picture ...a huge slide on one side ,a football penalty game on the other, jo and i in a little tent in the middle in bed with thousands of screaming kids having fun all around and if you cant get out to go home what do you do? you just take the barriers down lol
yes we were at the Riverside festival in nottingham, it was great fun but very tiring with trading up until 11pm friday and saturday and then 6pm sunday, forgot to take pictures of the campsite but i do have one of the stall before trading on sunday


we met lovely people again, Toniann who was on the toy stall next to us and very helpful.
i am now busy loading lots of goodies to the website, got so much to do and so many new things in the production stage....

new baby quilts including a farmyard quilt
mosses basket and pram sets for girls and boys

so had better get back to it and get some more work done.

Stars n Stripes

Here are some of my latest offerings, stars n stripes cushions and bunting, realy lovely to make and i freyed the edges, which made a lot of mess lol but i love the effect and think it fits in prefectly with the fabrics

look out for the unionjack version which will be coming soon

we are both very busy making at the minute, we have a 3 day event the first weekend in august at the Riverside festival in Nottingham, we will be camping out too so a lovely weekend we hope, fingers crossed for the weather.

we are also realy enjoying the "Body Shop" that we have started selling too, we have a regular slot on Melton market, (wood n stitches will be joining in after the riverside) it is lovely meeting everyone and having fun learning about and playing with all the products, so if you fancy a visit and play with all the makeup etc we are there every saturday (unless we are at another event)

Two Girly Quilts....

I am just loving these quilts, very girly and pink, i have nearly lost them to different people several times, i just hope the two little girls that they are going to love them too.

I'm back......

It was great to be away and not sewing or anything, although i did take a bit of cross stitch with me and managed only a little bit of it, we were out and about too much for me to get much stitching time in.
but it was back to it on our return, i was surposed to be quilting two single bed quilts for an order, they are half done but instead i just couldn't resist and i have been playing with flowers and produced a lovely bunch and to go along with these there are some single hanging flowers and string hanging flowers, always guaranteed to be in bloom!

also new to our collection are these gorgeous, good enough to eat cupcakes, money box/cupcakes and trinket cupcakes

and look at these gorgeous icecream, bowls, i just need some icecream to try them out lol

well back to my quilting i surpose, then we shall see whats next...........

Busy filling orders.....

Well its nice to work on something smaller than the quilts i have been working on lately, i have been designing some new cross stitch charts and filling orders, firstly these two "love" banners and then a matching cushion,i realy enjoy making these with the applique letters on the front.

then it is back to quilts, i have two girly quilts to make and these are the fabrics i have chosen for them, can't wait to get going on them, they are going to be goooorgeoussss.

then its onto stock items got a few new things to work on and lots to refill so will be very busy over the next few weeks, got some gorgeous fabrics to work with, just love fabby shopping and seeing whats new.
we have also moved into the BODY SHOP, gorgeous products, we are enjoying stocking up at the minute with all the lovely products and it will soon all be found along side the stall.
so its busy busy round here....

well better get back to it, the day job calls!

MMMMMmmmm new quilts

i have been adding some new quilts to the website this morning, one day i will have everything added....or maybe not, i still have a ton of stitching items to add and lots of other goodies too but with making new things all the time i don't think it will ever be possible lol, anyway here are some of them






but for now i am off out to buy some fabric to fill a ton of orders we received over last weekend, that should keep us busy for a day or two lol
