Latest quilt

Here is my latest quilt,
why do i want to keep them as i make them lol,
just love the colours on this one, as i do all of them, and it is BIG!
its probably coming on for a king size, well it hangs to the floor over my double bed anyway !!
it has the all over freehand quilting detail,
which i just love to do, (ignoring the pain in my hands that is)

right onto some smaller projects now,

Where does the time go??

The weeks are just flying past, we are in march already, where did that go to? although i am loving the odd day of milder weather, please lets have some more, not that i see much of them but even the little bit i do see is chearing me up greatly,
i am feeling back on top again, the 7 weeks being ill over christmas were tough, then i carried on feeling low and tired out all the time, but now i am on top form again, the sewing machine has been up to speed, busy busy, one thing i cant show you yet...but soon.
but i can show you these newbies
what about these cute little chappies, well little and bigger lol
so cute sitting on the shelf dangling there legs.
and for that little princess or love of your life...
in fact for everyone, i love these chunky speckled words with flowers, just gorgeous for mothers day or birthday or just to say.............

lots more to come when i have sorted and taken more pics...

too much to do and not enough hours, i also need to think of the workshop for the crafty weekend next month, i have been asked for a sewing project mmmm what to make??

anyway off the take more pics

Back to it....

Well sorry for being so quiet, it was a concious decision to put the sewing machine away for christmas and have a break but not for it to stay away for so long, but after being ill for nealy 7 weeks in total it took it out of me a bit and ended up with help from the docs to sort it all out, was beginning to feel slightly better during the hols but as soon as i went back to work i hit the floor like a ton of bricks! anyway after feeling better for only 5 days i have a cold again.....
but on the sewing front the machine is out and glad to be back at work lol .....or maybe not when it shot a broken needle at me the other day in protest !!!
but together we have managed to produce these.......
a lovely bright and chearful for spring double quilt which is completely quilted freehand....a little tricky on something that size lol

and then in readiness for valentine these gorgeous "love" cushions and hanging hearts,
the hearts almost didnt make it in front of the camera as the sold very well on the market yesterday

the Love cushions are again free hand quilted

i have a couple of options of what to work on this week,
decision will be made when i return from my walk round the car boot sale.
